High Noon Recalls Vodka Seltzer Cans Mislabeled as Celsius Energy Drinks
High Noon has voluntarily recalled its Beach Variety packs after discovering some cans were mislabeled as Celsius energy drinks. The error, attributed to a supplier shared by both companies, led to vodka seltzer being packaged in Celsius-branded cans. These mislabeled products may have reached retailers in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The FDA warns that consuming the affected Celsius Astro Vibe Sparking Blue Razz Edition could result in unintended alcohol ingestion. High Noon's parent company, Gallo, emphasized no adverse events have been reported. Krista Fontana, a company spokeswoman, stated proactive measures are being taken with retailers and distributors to ensure consumer safety.
Celsius Holdings Inc. (CELH) is supporting the recall efforts. Consumers can identify the mislabeled cans by their silver lids, which may be mixed with black-lidded High Noon cans bearing specific batch codes.
